Through my work with the GVSU Promotions Office, I edited branded content for university departments such as the Campus Health and Counseling Centers, as well as for campus activity boards and student organizations. I also created promotional materials for a range of events, including highlight reels for concerts featuring Lauren Alaina and Mason Ramsey. Beyond university projects, I’ve contributed to commercial content for clients like Generation Trust Law Group, Amway, and the Van Andel & DeVos families—adapting to corporate tone, evolving brand guidelines, and internal feedback processes.

I’ve collaborated with a range of clients—from local nonprofits to large firms—crafting polished edits that communicate clearly and align with each organization’s voice. My work for the Michigan SBDC focused on creating content that supports small business outreach and development, while projects like the YMCA’s “AmGive” interview and feedback series were tailored to reflect their mission and messaging. I enjoy bringing creative visions to life through short-form storytelling, as I did with promotional content for Experience Grand Rapids, which helped refine my ability to engage specific audiences. Across projects, I’ve provided footage logs, organized timelines, and established clear structures to ensure smooth handoffs and efficient revisions. I’m always eager to take on new formats and challenges.

I edited my own short film, Nuance, which received both the Jury and Audience Choice Awards at Open Projector Night, hosted by Wealthy Theater. My work emphasizes emotionally driven storytelling, with a focus on strong pacing and naturalistic dialogue. I also served as an editor and Art Director on Pets (Grand Valley Summer Film Project, dir. Joel Potrykus), collaborating across departments to help shape a cohesive visual and narrative tone. In addition, I’ve edited multiple short films for others, balancing each director’s unique vision with clear, compelling story structure. I’m often brought in during early stages for feedback and post-production planning, known for my adaptability, attention to performance rhythm, and strong organizational skills.
